Tesla Tracker
A self-hosted vehicle telemetry dashboard — live status, trip history, and charging costs.
Full-stackData streamingNotificationsSecurity

Tesla Tracker streams live telemetry (battery, location, charge state, odometer) into a database-backed dashboard alongside a full trip and charging history, with cost-per-km and cost-per-kWh computed from the raw data. A background service keeps the feed current and pushes notifications for events like sentry-mode triggers, and the whole stack runs behind the same reverse-proxy and Tailscale-only access model as the rest of the household infrastructure.
Role
Solo build: data pipeline, backend, front end, and deployment — orchestrated end-to-end with Claude.
Outcomes
- Tracks 80+ trips and 5 charging locations automatically, with live cost-per-km and cost-per-kWh analytics.
- Runs as an always-on containerized service with push notifications wired to events like sentry-mode triggers.
